CVS Haul!!!

CVS was having a sale and I couldn't resist trying out a few things I've had my eyes on for awhile. The Physician's Formula items were 40% off and the Maybelline  products were buy one get one 50% off. I wanted the new WnW 24 Carrot Gold lipstick, but it was sold out so I settled for Purty Persimmon, which is lovely in it's own right. And this is my second Dream Bouncy Blush, and even though they take some building I still LOVE them! Enjoy the haul and swatches!

The Haul
Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel Liner- Brown Eyes
I love that these liners snap together/apart, making them great for storage & travel... plus they're highly pigmented!

This brush is actually really good!

The color is richer in person, flash made it appear washed out.

Above: Liner after being scrubbed with a cloth... pretty good staying power!

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush- Plum Wine (50)

 Above: Plum Wine Blush blended

Maybelline MasterDrama liner- Coal Commander (Gray)

Above: Coal Commander in daylight (is actually darker than it appears here)
Below: Coal commander after being vigorously rubbed... this stuff really lasts until you remove it!!!

Wet N Wild Mega Last lipstick- Purty Persimmon & Covergirl Lip Perfection- Tempt

What do you guys think of the Physician Formula brand? I've never purchased them before, and I am pleasantly surprised by how great and pigmented the liners are. Have you all tried any of the items in this haul?

Hope you all are having a fantastic weekend!

A decision must be made....

Aldo Luongo- "Monday Morning" c/o Gallery 280

We've all been there before, running late for something... work, school, a date or some other equally important event in our lives. In the midst of all the chaos involved with getting ready, you're re-vamping your prep plan from the night before... because let's face it, something isn't going to get done.

For me, I wouldn't care if the sky was falling and bombs were going off outside... I WILL NOT leave my home without my eyebrows being filled in!!!! NO foundation? Oh well. No lipstick? Dang... but alright. Bare Eyebrows? Oh hell naw... we have time! I have my grandmother's eyebrows, they kind of do this dip down thing after the arch and become thin, so they're hard to work with and get even. Sounds crazy, but it's my main beauty concern. I will walk out without a scrap of makeup or color on my face, as long as my eyebrows are done, because sparse brows worry me to my soul. That being said, I'd be late to my own funeral to make sure my brows were done right LOL

What I want to know is, when time is short and you should've been out the door and running like yesterday, what is the ONE ABSOLUTE THING you will NEVER leave the house without primping regardless of what time it is?

St. Patrick's Day Look #1

Hey you guys! In honor of this coming St. Patrick's Day, I've decided to post a couple different looks I've created for this weekend. Since green is my favorite color, I haven't decided if I want to go for a subtle smokey-ish look, or a loud as hell green! Sooooo..... here is the tamer of the two looks I'm debating on. I'll probably be adding some lashes for more effect also! Check back soon for my "bright" idea with look #2.
